Water Baptism Does Not Save 2

Baptism is not necessary for Babies who die go to Heaven. God loves them more than we do and takes them to Heaven, not because of our works but because of God’s own love and works. Salvation is the work of God and takes Divine power. Only He has Divine power.

2 Peter 1:3A According as his divine power hath given unto us ALL THINGS THAT PERTAIN UNTO LIFE AND GODLINESS,

Only God can give us all things that pertain unto eternal life.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 FOR WE ARE HIS WORKMANSHIP, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 FOR IT IS GOD WHICH WORKETH IN YOU both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

When King David’s baby son died he did not mourn because he knew that baby was in heaven. This is what he said:

2 Samuel 12:23 But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.

David was a man after God’s own heart and knew he was going to be with the Lord and that his baby son was already with the Lord. We shall contrast his reaction when his baby died with his reaction when his adult son Absalom died in the following article.
